New laws which mean platforms like eBay will have to notify HMRC of your earnings from sales comes into force on January 1st 2024,i fear this will have an impact on the amount of preowned items being available, what views do other have on this .

Quite surprised no one has opened a discussion about the Black Friday offers,surley people have purchased some of the offers,i bought the L&MR Lion pack, not that I model that era I bought it just to add to my collection..

Hi Sam,,may I recommend you join the collectors club before you purchase the set, you will receive 15%of the purchase price to spend later on the hornby website, not joining will give you 10%,its a nice way of getting further purchases a bit cheaper..

Now you are going to be refunded you can start to look for a replacement, you didn't say how much you paid and I know that they are asking good money for them on eBay,have you looked on Facebook market place,i have seen a few on there recently for a fair price, there was one for £300 although it states that it had been run a handful of times so something like that might appeal to you if you are looking to run rather than collect.

It doesn't seem as popular as the other exclusives recently released but I like it and ordered one ,the cab detail is how I expect it to be ,painted , cab doors and with a flickering fire box.

There is just one bogey in the box. When I lifted the engine out, the bogey stayed in the box and I couldn’t see any screws loose in the packaging. These things happen, I’m sure Hornby will send me the parts I require. The part that connects the chassis to the bogey was also loose and rusted! Maybe this was a display model or a customer return?
I would not be happy with that.

I like lights on coaches and I really wish hornby would release Gresley teaks with interior lights,of the period obviously,I’ve got some Pullman and mk1 coaches with lights but teaks would be great.

If it is for a pre order then you won't receive them until you have had the item,if it is from a recent received item then you will get them after 21 days, just give it a few more days, or try logging out and logging back in again.
