Thanks for the reply. Its free from damp and I think I'd keep the cars in the house anyway and ferry them in as im using them.

I'm going to shortly be building a fixed layout in my garage as building a layout  every time I want a session and crawling about on the floor is not agreeing with me. I've got a few questions if anyone can advise. It's your standard new build type garage with concrete floor and brick walls do the varying temperatures affect the condition of the track like warping or corrosion? I'm thinking of pertitioning half the garage off and pinning the walls anyway to keep it a bit warmer and cosy. Any others offer any advice?
