Where are the details please?

Wow! Fantastic news! That was a fantastic kit

MG Writer, did or do those Morris Van's and Morris Traveller belong to you?
GNR-Gordon-4
Sorry, no. But aren't they great? A 'woodie' Traveller would be especially nice. Painting would be made easier if they made the 'wood' as separate bits.

Check this out... £80 is honestly not bad for a detailed 1:24 Morris Minor....

Definitely a 1:24 scale 1955 Le Mans MG 'EX182'. Thank you very much.

That does look good. You didn't buy that kit then, MG Writer?
GNR-Gordon-4
Sadly no. I would like to hope that before too long the technology and costs of 3D scanning and printing might make it feasible for someone to make copies under license from good original sprues....

I suspect that someone may have covered this before - apologies if so - but I stumbled across this on eBay and it reminded me what a great kit this was..../media/tinymce_upload/138aa760be51c9b54e94dbafe1ad9a30.PNG

How about bringing back the car models , Mini, Sunbeam Rapier, BMC 1100 and so on.
Exactly BristolBill! Or even better, some new car kits - perhaps British classic subjects like the Austin Healey 100/4, MGA, MGC GTS, Jaguar C or D Type, Morris Minor Traveller, MG RV8, Sunbeam Tiger, Jensen Interceptor, Lotus Elan, Morgan Plus Eight, Triumph Spitfire and GT6, TR5, TR6, Mini Traveller, Ford Cortina....

I did build one when they were new, but nowadays they seem to be very expensive on eBay. I wonder if the idea of 3D scanning one of these will ever become economical enough to do, and if so, what Airfix would have to say about it?

A really interesting article about the work done by Hornby on the new Scalextric Jaguar E Type - and there is even an interesting reference to Airfix archives and the information they had collected all those years ago when they were researching for the 1:32 E Type Airfix kit! Worth a read... https://www.scalextric.com/uk-en/news/testtrack/scalextric-and-the-most-beautiful-car-ever-made/
