  1. I think that the 3d printed wheels with steel spokes are a different proposition to the fully printed resin spoked variety. That said, I have a set of resin printed 1/8 scale dragster wire wheels and they are pretty tough. I think it all depends on the resin. When I hand-laced my own wheels for the Birkin Bentley I used fishing line. 3 years later it's still working!
  2. There is a new company called "Unobtainium" who are developing 3D printed wire wheels (with wire spokes) and other upgrade parts for the Bentley. https://unobtainium.digital/
  3. There is a major Bentley restorer in Watford (they did the single seater). It may be worth giving them a ring to see if they have anything in at the moment, and whether you could visit? It's a lot closer that Beaulieu! (I know, because I went to the museum from West Sussex. 2 1/2 hours!)
  4. Here are a few more "nearly finished" pics /media/tinymce_upload/797479cd93c0b0c14cacf161af864813.png /media/tinymce_upload/d8c221d659e0d59ca46d505c91c30357.png /media/tinymce_upload/e5697f9e803860d0bfb9a43ff5333168.png /media/tinymce_upload/60fd89fd7bfdf2b3e0fa4459c0a33efa.png Hope you enjoy them!
