  1. hi @Rustyjt welcome my HST wouldn't go around my bends without coming apart i turned them end for end

and they were fine ,so what  stock have you purchased so far and what locos and liveries would you need i don't worry about stuff like that i run german locos and british locos on the same layout i run what i like .

some model pre war one and  some 1918 to 1939 some are post war two say up to the end of steam or br blue i myself like 1995 to now if you add in GWR as well sorry if i mist you out TT120 is a broad church we could all say the same thing locos  and a integrated  plan and more liveries GWR .I modelled in n but oo had far more  locos so i went back to it so i model in both TT and oo but they a in the cupboard now as  they cost to much and i love TT120 and all the german rolling stock lol😊

  2. 😊i  am glad he asked about the class 50 in gbrf , that's the one i wanted  to get  ,a very good interview with

carl and martyn , four   new locos and different class 66 for the european market plus a class j50 with sound . I love my euro rolling stock so more 66s to get .

i find myself saying no more lol for now 😃 and then class 37s by end 2025 and then followed in 2026 by a class

(             )let  your mind run wild  a class 92 or a warship class 26 or 27  in g n e r , green or br black  plus rolling stock  who know's  im glad they are small so easy to  store for now 😊

  3. hi come to think of it i have got  some points a class 66 less than fifty that could be good .

thats one way to get a cheap donation loco, save points up order more trains😃

a project to work on when they get here in the winter or a bit sooner😃

i meant to say trees not three it was late in last reply

  4. @Rallymatt i think when it come's to price of locos we think we pay  the most for them because we are cut from the rest of the world,

if we had ho instead oo we would be more in line  with european and usa for the same type of model 0-6-0 2-6-0 4-6-2 or diesel electric

we would be more  price wise if a model was cheaper in germany or higher in usa . or the same , if a company price was in line with the rest or they where ripping us off if so we could order from europe.

if it's cheaper like we can with TT120 , anold is cheaper in  europe than uk  £11 in one case after p+p 😊 i was very happy

the cl 66 is  a great looking model mine will cost me £106 -15%=£89 +10% not bad ,but i want the one carl had in GBF +sound

  5. @Postman On The Rails  great minds think a ljke  and all that ,

have  good day or night when you read this . how is you layout going im adding trees i got from msl ,in germany

i   got  some cheap  noch threes and doll them up they don't look so bad with 1mm static grass glued to them ,

i have had them for an age i got a few  more to do .so good luck with  your layout🙂

  6. well done both of  you  i bet you where tired after  all that talking  about model trains

to simon .martyn and  carl  . thank you  GMC and PEACHY  you did the TT120 community.

a great service on that day to  steady the ship against ytube tidal wave and hurricane  of  negative  comments,

TT120 is  not a boat and will not sink without a trace 😄

peachy you vid is doing ok over 1500  views when i look not bad .

i know how many are TT120 modellers ? I hope  they all are 😊      ps to myself one class 66 in  gbrf livery  please

  7. @hobby 11i hope this  is the right one  there are a few hobbys on this

forum . i ask for a moderator to look at my replies to peachy and you to make sure that i did not cross a line and mislead people .

i asked peachy to ask instead of me as he carries more clout in the forum  than me  i think i forgot to put lol in my first reply . it  is just me

i had to check it was ok

in one of my first threads i said about someone who has a blue carpet and got a lot of bad replies why did i pick on s--and this forum is not like that  so  i did not post for  a few   weeks so i would read but not write a word ,so  happy modelling  in a great scale  TT120 in the best hobby in the world

  8. @Peachy  sorry for my reply to your post about what dock   040 shunter   will be in a set.

apparently many people on this thread believe it to be true that you can put a model oo loco input  data  at 67 % in to a printer and it will come out has a TT120 model  i have been informed by member 1707822967  in three reply's.  it was a joke about hornby  producing a cheap set with a dock shunter lol 🙂  .   peachy can you please  ask the mods to look at  my replys on  this thread and member 1707822967  to me to see if my replys  where ok  ,

and warn people about it  thanks 🙂

  10. peachy what about a bagnall  shunter hornby  they have got one line up for this  year in OO at £34 pounds in the  railroad range It looks very nice to me ,

all they have to do is turn the printer down to 67% i think   and add three  trucks an ovel of track a controller  a track mat all for  less than a £100 pounds  win win for hornby😀

  11. you guys did great i really enjoyed it ,nice chat with carl and martin .

so refreshing ,it cleared a few things up for  me and the rest of the TT120 community i hope towards the missing items in the catalogue.

if they had a factory hornby could order what they  liked its the same  with the chips a small fish in a very big sea lol i did not get the joke until i read it ,when i saw the class 66 in gbf it was 😍 got to get one

so they are going to look at the wagon side frames and make them of metal maybe with plastic on top has detail parts ,what carl said about the 50' brake lowering the bogies with a washer ,i had a look on msl on the tillig page the same mail coach TT16818 HO 74961 ,the tt one you can see all of the wheel  flanges below the body  and in the ho  one you can't see the tops of the wheels the rest are not so clear cut

so i think the TT wheel bogie passes under the body on bends  where the ho one does not  it stays inside it  maybi  rallmatt  or peachy can have  a look  my eyes a not so good ,if so hornby should get a few to compare with tilig have been at it for years  thanks guys

  12. sam sam sam what should i say i liked his revlew of the bachmann b1 .

he even said the hornby  b1 one was better shock horror ,so i just watched the april  release one it was a shock.

why  go on  about the price of TT120 if lts small it is harder to work on it takes more time =more cost labour .

shipping on ships or get santa to do on is 364 days of far cheaper hornby could save money .

i agree with peachy in hjs post on youtube and every one  here .

I know that if i down size i can take my layout with me so the scale is great for me i would never belittle someones model railway whatever size it is or scale i was hopping mad at the comments hornby and TT 120🤐 received  roll no the end of year statement we might just see how well TT120 is doing   and some company might join in the fun      a j26 or p2 j27  in TT 120 would be a nice  mid size loco 😀

  13. we had shops like that mid terrace  but no gardens ,the door was always open all gone now.

it had to happen one day in the summer, i walked in the next house down open door by mistake oops sorry ,and can i have some milk trying to hide my red face 🫣,and beat a swift retreat out the door and into the right one.

yes the people in the shop did laugh so you could model it ,and add  a teen being chased out the door  down the street it could  have happened  but They knew me 😁lol🫣

  14. hi david we take what we can get for now and with some good imagination and hey presto it  appears.

before our eyes, i really like the bush inn pub i will have to buy more british stuff to build my  new layout  .

thanks to me getting the class 43 HST set i could not resist  it ,My old layout is very german set in black forrest i like the piko locos i have got  nine and the rolling stock is very nice .

so i will  have to  swap them and put one away in my half of the wardrobe and take it out when i get bored that does limit the size but 5'4"in x 2'8" max is not too bad in TT120 scale😊

  15. I think you can  get the cuttyshark  sailing ship by  airfix in 1:130 nice of a museum ship in a dock.

lucky mike didn't say TT1:120' ft that could be a hard  layout to fit in stonehenge let alone a  small house lol😊

  16. It's very much like my layout ,it has a main loop with sidings that form inside and outside loops.but not with  a fiddleyard but all landscape in that area instead for trains to run through.

my  station is on the inside edge of the main line at the front of the board  the goods dept is in the  same place ,so the goods dept is like a letter  Y with an extra Y added to it. so one main spur  and two side spurs off it for the  goods yard. and i have got a small town to  the right instead of  the tunnel mouth i do like your plan i might borrow it  when i build my new one .

the  point at the front of the board the track spurs  off goes along the edge  and does not bend in like you's. and goes past the small building and  along the front of the board until it reaches the left edge to meet up with the fiddleyard.

i am lucky i can have a small fiddleyard on the left by the use of a loose pin hinge, but i got to  keep the boards under 86cm  wide  X140cm long or high ,so they  will go in my  half of the 4 door wardrobe in my bedroom .The doors are 46cm each very tight ouch my fingers now you see it  - now you don't   😂  🫣 lol      happy wife happy life😊

  17. i have got a couple of them but i mist out on  the grey one ,they look great on my layout .

I can't wait to get some more .if  we could get different containers from anold and hornby to put on them like they do in oo a pack of three would be nice .

and hornby and airfix  please some nice boats in   TT  120 scale would  be great  a fishing boat to  start with😊

  18. I would not like  mike to design and build my new layout for me 6 in by 4in is too small even for 1st rad

    curves lol 😄

i can't wait for the class 37 im glad it is next year i think i will run out of money ate this rate.

so much to like i just got a  class 43 two weeks ago, hornby doing the containers is great 10% in points thats good i got some  arnold ones at the start of the year don't think i got points for them i might be wrong  all i got say is happy spending ever one 😊

  19. i like the stuff he does too, his last layout build was good and when he went to the model show with it and put all the boards together i would love  to do that one day.

so he is going build a TT120 to show that will be at least two TT120 layouts on the model show circuit not too bad+hornbys

all very good for TT120 and  sam give the class 43 hst a very good review Things are looking up at last  😊

  20. Hi all  i love this type of couplings well i did on my piko tillig anold and the class 43 power cars.

but  add a mark 3 into the mix and love  turns  to hate lol  they are coupled for now if i don't take  them off the track that is fun and games to  get them to couple  again

well its the end of the fun for now  new couplings i think😊
