  1. Yes, I am in the US. The background is that I got the coaches of of ebay and they came in a decent condition but the couplers were X2F so I decided to paint them black then sanded the coupler down a little so that it would be a decent length, then glued the Thomas Hook and Loop Couplers I already have to them. Recently, I have discovered the website Shapeways and saw that some makers sell bogies for different hornby coaches and wagons, I just need to figure out which bogie offered would be a match or close to a perfect match.
  2. When I bought the coaches they had XF2 style couplers making it difficult for them to "work" with my Bachmann Thomas models. I started a project to try and convert the couplers into hook and loop couplers that would be compatible with my Bachmann Thomas models.

  4. Does anyone know what type of bogies would be compatible with the early versions of the Hornby Thomas and Friends Green Composite and Brake Coach so I could switch the coupling systems. Accuracy isn't a big deal, I would just like to be able to run these coaches with my Bachmann Thomas Engines.
