Tony57
HiSince the move to china according to a spread sheet I have compiled Hornby has used over 45 differant X numbers for the motors in locomotives, some are the same basic motor with a different worm, others are totally different motors. Can you explain the rational behind the ever changing motors policy and what is the policy on how long will the availability of new replacement motors in years please this is in view that all locos are being fitted with limited live throwaway can motors As a person who runs old Triang and Triang Hornby as well as new Hornby, getting replacement motors and parts for the oldest ones is far eaisier than getting parts for the newer ones.
