Fordster8
How about bringing out a Peter Brock Hatch Back Torana (The Famous 05).It would have to be the most famous Aussie Touring Car of ALL time. If this thing was made in a Scalextric Version it would sell like HOT CAKES..
Kelpieboy
I know a guy in Australia has a body mould for this and other Aussie cars ( vehicles scaly has not made yet) such as the GTR XU-1 , 1969 Monaro. Bodies pretty cheap , does the livery stickers as well. Also makes a complete car kit as well for about A$120. A little more expensive I know but you havent got a HDT GTR XU-1 or a HDT A9X racing against a John Goss XA Falcon or a Valiant E49 Charger either. I have and its just wicked.I also have most of the Scaly Aussie cars from the 1970's but Scaley seem limited to either L34's or GTHO's or XB,XC Falcons. Take the Bathurst Legends set for eg , GTHO and an L34 are the cars you get , Scaly seem to miss the point entirely here because these 2 cars are seperated by 3-4 years and never hit the bitumen as rivals. GTHO raced the Monaro and later the LC GTR Torana while the L34 faced off against the XB and early XC's ( most of the XC racing career was against the A9X). Kelpieboy
I also think the A9X sits behind the GTR XU-1 as the most iconic Aussie Bathurst vehicle , maybe its an age thing.
