Chrissaf Posted December 29, 2017 Share Posted December 29, 2017 The traction tyres (rubber wheel traction thingies) may have become stretched over time and are not sitting tightly on the wheel treads. You therefore may need to approach an N gauge specialist dealer to try and find out if these are still available, and fitting them will also require some skill as it may be necessary to dismantle the locomotive. Chrissaf Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 i have an older aronold n scale 262 steam engine & tender #23 105, its red and black. seems it had rubber wheel traction thingies on it (1/2 there?) Rana Temporia Posted January 11, 2018 Share Posted January 11, 2018 If only part of the tyres are there the wheels will be bouncing along the track an you’ll need new ones.
