Chrissaf
New be, looking for the schematic to a 0-6-0 HR2525 S-100, want to add DCC. TIA
Chrissaf
This is the Hornby section for the Rivarossi service sheets. However, HR2525 does not appear to be listed in it. One of the others might be a close alternative though, for example see HR2641 link further below..https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/downloads/view/index/cat/44/?p=16.Have a look at HR2641 on this page. It is a S100 loco that might be similar to yours:https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/downloads/view/index/cat/44/?p=
NGwpower18
Thanks Chris, being not familiar with the parts numbering on this site it makes for a huge learning curve. Really looking for an explanation for the Main PCB board on my model. Want to convert to DCC and prefer schematics to get it right. 😀
Chrissaf
The question about PCB circuit diagrams comes up with alarming regularity. Hornby do not provide circuit diagrams (schematics) of the loco PCB circuits:.If your S100 is DCC Ready and has a socket (the HR2641 shows a socket, but your S100 may not have one) then the DCC decoder just replaces the blanking plug in it (assuming that the decoder pin configuration is a match)..If your S100 pre-dates DCC Ready and does not have a socket, then the decoder just goes in series with the two wires that connect to the motor. This circuit gives an overview of the wiring connectivity (does not take into account any manufacturer fitted PCB that might be present, so it is only an 'in principle' wiring diagram)..https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/post/view/topic_id/23590/?p=2.
