O Gauge

If you are really in to Hornby O gauge clockwork then I suggest you join the Hornby Railway Collectors Association (HRCA)  which is the main supporter's club for the original Liverpool Meccano made toy trains . Meccano went out of business in 1965 but the name Hornby was taken over by the Triang company but not the production. The Hornby Dublo (OO) range was still made for a few years by a sister company of Triang called Wrenn, and some of this, mostly wagons are now made by Dapol.

The gauge O stuff was still made in France and Argentina for a few years but that folded a long time ago.

The HRCA has members who make spare parts for the old models, and even some replicas and neverwazzers although these ready to run items are usually of pre-War items, and are therefore extremely expensive.

Have a look at their website   https://www.hrca.net/ or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Nonprofit-Organization/The-Hornby-Railway-Collectors-Association-HRCA-1820668491500080/

They produce a full colour magazine 10 times a year and organise auctions of Meccano Hornby items 5 or 6 times a year.
