Also the start of a new era with the new track system that was demonstrated at the 2019 London Toy Fair. I wrote a couple of articles for the National Scalextric Collectors Club (NSCC) in 2014 to celebrate the 20th birthday, which are now available on the HO-UK website. Part One - 2014: http://ho-uk.org.uk/articles/micro-scalextric-history-part-1 Part Two - 2015: http://ho-uk.org.uk/articles/micro-scalextric-history-part-2 Doug Passell and Andrew Rose helped me enormously with writing the short history and we spent a fabulous weekend in the HO Zone at the UK Slot Car Festival in May 2014 celebrating the anniversary and enjoying Andrew's complete collection of Micro Scalextric cars. Loved finding out the history of micro scalextric! I recently managed to acquire 2 boxed, complete, G.012 sets that are in very good condition! I think one has the rare green/green benetton car, but not sure!
