MG Writer 2 Posted November 29, 2020 Share Posted November 29, 2020 I see that Airfix is planning to release a pair of Quick Build kits in 2021 of the 1968 and 2020 Ford Mustangs... that's a step forward but no idea at this stage if the scales. Dad Paul B Posted December 1, 2020 Share Posted December 1, 2020 I don't think the Quickbuild kits are made to a specific scale, rather the old concept of 'Box Scale' - whatever scale fits in the standard box. Fixed scale was brought in by Airfix and was an early selling point.At a guess I would say the cars are in the region of 1/30-something (not sure about the VW Camper, this may be a smaller scale, same withthe Ford pickup) and the aircraft are about 1/50 for the small planes like the spit and 1/60-70-ish for the F-22.
