Airfix Austin Maxi 1500 1/32 scale; could not resist doing another.

Airfix 1/32 scale Austin Maxi 1500.

As I enjoyed doing the Fawn Brown one so much, I thought I may as well do another.

Bermuda Blue this time, with Black interior.

Registration: SVJ 142H.

The model is based on an actual Maxi of the same colour and registration plate. 

According to the DVLA, registered July 1970 and is currently taxed and MOTd.

The kit was missing the rear seat; therefore I decided to simply leave it and the parcel shelf out altogther, in order to show the Maxi's generous interior space.

Absolutely great kits; very accurate and detailed parts.

Why, oh why do Airfix not reissue these?
