USN Non Specular Blue Grey

Does any one know the nearest Humbrol equivalent paint to USN Non Specular Blue Grey. I believe they used to do it in the Authentic range but that of course has been discontinued.

If you're referring to ANA 603, on IPMS Stockholm Fredrikkson lists this as FS 36118. The Humbrol Paint Conversion Chart lists Hu 125 as equivalent to FS 36118.

I had a look at that and it refers to Dark Grey which is not what I'm after. The colour I'm after is that used on Grumman Wild Cats which is a light grey with a blue tinge.

I wouldn't go by the description (they're often misleading). If IPMS advise that, I'd give it a try (on a test mule first).

You could try a match to FS 35189 which is often quoted in relation to the Wildcat colour. In the Humbrol range this is Hu 157 Azure Blue. In the instructions to their Wildcat kit Eduard quote Mr Hobby C367, which is equivalent to Hu 157.
