Firefox cut and paste

Just so everyone knows... this forum, as some have already found, offers up a message that cutting and pasting cannot be done whilst the visitor uses Firefox. A popup message tells you so...

 

However, open up a proggy like Word or a text editor, drag and drop your text from the thread into that editor. Then do the same in reverse. It works every time - obviously!

.....or you could simply try ctrl-v - the shortcut for paste. It works fine.

I had the same trouble with the forum software at my college and found that ctl-v was the answer.

There are loads of ways to do the copy or drag and drop but I thought just showing one example would excite folk enough to try their favourite way.

Of course, your example will help too... bar the italic bit as you state... :-)
