She became Belgian Champion with these cars. I made a replica off both cars, starting from the Scalextric Ford Escort MK1 Mexico rallye car. I spoke to Yvette last week on an event in Kortrijk Belgium and she promised me to place the photo on her website. I think these Ford Escort MK1 are very rare because I made them by myself. I painted them with airbrush and I found all logos for the decals on internet. I downloaded them and made them in the good scale by computer en printed them on a special paper for decals. On the foto you can see the result. On the attic-floor off my house is a big track and there we enjoi racing. The black and white photo was taken on the circuit off Zolder Belgium on 13.05.1970 and on the other photo is Yvette showing the Escort BP. She still drives oldtimer racing cars on special events.
