paul-muc Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 Airfix has some kits for WW II diorama scenes, but there is nothing like that for modern or NATO aircraft, with figures, vehicles or weapon loading sets. I remember that the first kit of the Hercules came with a Land Rover with missile and launcher. This could be a separate kit. And once Hasegawa offered two kits with ground equipment, but they were for US aircraft and they are no longer available. So Airfix could fill the gap for European aircraft. This was released as a separate kit, it's a bit basic, especially the Land Rover, but the only place you wil get a 1/76 (or 1/72) Bloodhound. paul-muc Posted September 23, 2015 Author Share Posted September 23, 2015 I meant something to arrange with a modern aircraft that is displayed in an airfield diorama, like a jeep, a truck and mechanics and staff standing around and chatting. The Range Rover was an example only, because once there was a kit to start with. I have never painted figures, so this would be a starter for me.
