Alessio Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 In the past few years Hornby have produced their model of the Stanier 8F with an NEM socket on the leading pony truck, allowing the owner to attach and detatch the front coupling at will. I've been trying to source one of these to convert my own 8F so that I can fit a snowplough temporarily. However, I have been informed that Hornby don't sell this type of pony truck as a spare. Alessio Posted October 13, 2015 Author Share Posted October 13, 2015 Hi Fazy,Although that is an 8F truck it's not the one with the NEM socket, and Peter's Spares say that the NEM socket version isn't sold as a spare.
