poliss
Leave it for an hour or two, then try again. Make sure all the leads are plugged in properly and that it's switched on at the wall socket. Don't plug the lights into the outlet at the back. Flashbang
HiJust to add to Poliss answer, I would, before powering it up, remove all the track feed wires and all the accessory wires from the rear of the console. Then power it up and see what appears on the screen. If all is ok. Power down and reconnect the track wires only and retry powering up. If all is still ok, power down again and add the wires to the 15volt Aux. output terminals. Power back up again and see what happens. If at any stage when the wiring is added it fails to work on powering up, then its likely there is a problem with that particular circuit which must be corrected. If it fails on the very initial powering up with no wires connected at all (Except the power lead) then it looks as though the Select is dead! It can be returned to Hornby for servicing if necessary.
