Rolymofo
Is it just me, or is the cost of a few inches of plastic and metal, manufactured in China possibly the most overpriced product in all of manufacturing? In building a circuit where you find you're 3 or 4 pieces short, even 2nd hand can be an extra £20. outrageous! Maybe someone could introduce a swap system for odd pieces, for instance I have quite a few that are now redundant, but may be just what someone else is looking for, and visa versa. Andy P.
You are of course entitles to your opinion but it is a free market and you can get lucky.Hornby Scalextric is one of the most flexible systems out there so you can also combine it with Spanish manufacturers SCX and Ninco using adapter pieces which can sometimes be bought at lower prices. The surface is different so it can be a challenge but it is an option.Personally I find good deals online all the time. Your mileage may vary.
