crosbystills
I believe the DCC socket is in the Tender on this Locomotive. However I can see no visible means of access. Does anyone have advice?

Rog RJ
I think the top should just pull off.Have a look at this https://www.hornby.com/filelibrary/download/?FileID=199 I know it's not the same model but the diagram of the tender should help. Sometimes helps if you use a small screwdriver to carefully prise one end up slightly first. Some tenders have a screw hidden under the coupling if they are not clip fit. crosbystills
Great stuff, I,m in! There is a small rectangular hole in the front of the tender. It is in the black part so is difficult to see. I relesed the rear pivot screw holding the Loco to tender connecting bar, this makes easier to get at the small hole. Insert a watchmakers screwdriver and BINGO.Thanks again.
