Ratch Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Maybe some of us have models made after real pictures, with the same painting, insignia and even taken from a similar angle.Mine is the Bf 109 E-4 from Freiherr Gunther Von Maltzahn, taken in 1940. The pilot near the plane is Gerhard Michalski, also serving with the II/JG53 as Gruppen Adjudant and is clearly visible the red band around the nose and the lack of the insignia unit. Control surfaces are in different positions and the capot was removed when compared with the original, but the idea come after I finish the kit :)I invite other fellow modellers who also have similar picture sets, from planes, tanks, people, etc, to share with us.
