  3. I have several Airfix PzKfw IV because then was the only option. Still, is a nice kit and a good wargame tanks. The 21st Panzer Div is very close to a vertical D, with a horizontal line in the midle./media/tinymce_upload/3006ae42ea0e92965201656c49345e07.jpgI also have a wounded commander in my last tank, but is different :) /media/tinymce_upload/169f3724b36132e75fd4f651fd0f19fe.jpg
  4. Sometimes they say was not available now and the customer need to wait. It happen with me in the past with the WW1 Tank tracks, but they send me the parts when available again. Never told me that they will not send a part if available.
  5. Araldite 2 part epoxy resin to glue the deformed lower wings from my Junkers 88 ☚ī¸ /media/tinymce_upload/8406a628dd866fce18ff81a82be66251.jpg
  6. No, no problem at all :) In the picture is the basic structure for the Anderson Shelter. The base was cut from a old CD box, the middle is a strip of plastic and both ends are paper from a cookies package. After painted and adding all the small rocks and powder, the result is what can be seen in the first picture :)
  7. Made it, I don't buy something I can build for almost nothing :) /media/tinymce_upload/81349fb7163717427c8ad3bc66b6c9af.JPG
  8. Was from a cookies pack :) Plus some scrap and plastic sheets...
  9. Spitfire I (last mould) and Junkers 88 both by Airfix in 1/72 from EBay and a scratchbuild Anderson shelter :) /media/tinymce_upload/c222bb32b7e40346fa4e689b93478237.JPG
  10. RPM Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 Spain RPM Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 Poland RPM Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 France Not as good, by far, as the last Airfix 1/72 Bf 109E, but very strong and good value for money for wargamers.
  11. Last acquisition now is the Opel Blitz+PAK 40 and next will be the Amera base S220 to get the revised Luftwaffe airfield set, with the new Bf 109E 😀 /media/tinymce_upload/ccd881ed562b1305dd71cb3701c43163.jpg
  12. Airfix don't invest in cars, so its just normal to see what is happening, or not, in the cars forum.
  13. This site have a list of Frog models and information about most, but not about the Miles Master III: http://frog.cocardes.com Many Frog moulds are now Novo or Eastern Express, but some went to other brands, including Revell.
  14. Airfix Messerschmitt Bf 109E4 1/72 and Airfix Opel Blitz+PAK 40, both from a EBay auction 😀 The truck is still being build as I run out of German Grey...
  15. You have more similar problems here: https://www.airfix.com/uk-en/forum/can-not-post-pictures/?p=1/#post-208651 Add what happen with you to that thread, it may help others and yourself.
  16. My suggestion is to gather same of the already available pilots and make a single set for each period, just with the seated pilots because can avoid both costs and time. Would leave other pilots figures to be included in revised ground personal sets, made in 1/72 because represent a bigger investment and a longer development period.

    Pilots

After several decades recycling pilots from one aircraft to another, I'm running out of figures to new airplanes. I even found a new jobs to the older Airfix and Frog pilots instead of allowing them to retire peacefully :) I would like to see a box with the standard seated pilots to suit most 1/72 kits. I don't care too much if the figures are all identical or if there are a couple different figures, just need a cost efective solution for models with enclosed cockpit where pilots are only partially seen. A box with 40 identical figures, or with 2-3 types, with a competitive price would be very welcome to me because most alternatives are expensive or very low quallity.
  18. Any picture need to be approved by an administrator. Most likely will be approved tomorrow.
  19. I had a few "Narvik" class destroyers, all representing different ships, and remember people with several 1/1200 models, most likely to use them in wargames.
  20. Look like Airfix Set 01763 WWII British Infantry.
  21. I use a layer of PVA, then drop powder, small stones, some from my cat litter box, and grass or what is required to get the effect I want. A dilluted paint help to keep all in place, but there are sprays who can seal the whole set. The result is something like what can be seen here, with a Bf-109F with the engine already started :) /media/tinymce_upload/956099926f3fa1a4a5c082a799c85da1.jpg
  22. I would like to see a few small waterline boats in 1/72. There are ships who can be much cheaper if made as waterline, as submarines, and can provide a good centre for a diorama.
  23. There are just rumours, Airfix confirmed that no 1/76 mould was ever made.
  24. The Matchbox M16, now Revell, is underscale for 1/76 and the Airifix model is not 1/72, compare it with the Academy kit.
