Una Reid
it would be great for some of the locomotives from Scotlands south west especially the "northern Irishman" that was run in 1952 until 1966 from London to stranraer

LCDR
Yes, most of the passenger services were provided using ex LMS types especially Stanier class 5s, and Jubilees. Made by Hornby and Bachmann respectively. Some locals were in the hands of 2P 4-4-0s (once made by Airfix and subsequently sporadically by Hornby) and Stanier/Fowler/Fairburn 4MT 2-6-4Ts (Hornby/Hornby/Bachmann) . Other common types were Hughes Fowler 5MT 2-6-0 'Crabs' on coal traffic(Bachmann) . There was a sprinkling of ex Caledonian 0-6-0s and 0-4-4Ts to add local flavour. (Sadly none available RTR) The former G&SWR types had all gone by Nationalisation. BR Standards were also common.
