Chrissaf Posted August 13, 2017 Share Posted August 13, 2017 It does help to prevent confusion if your original post had more detail in it..Assuming the Hornby R8247 Accessory Decoder (again you haven't said what brand / model, you might be using a non Hornby one)..The R8247 decoder needs to be configured with it connected as the ONLY device to the 'PROG A&B' output of your eLink. Therefore, the second decoder should be configured first, before fitting on your layout. If it is already fitted, then you will need to disconnect the 'Track A&B' input of the R8247 decoder, and using a temporary length of twin wire (bell wire flex is ideal) connect the R8247 'Track A&B' input terminals to your eLink 'PROG A&B' output terminals..With the above connection made, you can then use RailMaster to configure the DCC addresses you want for your points. After which you replace the temporary programming wire with the permanent connection back to your eLink 'Track A&B' output for testing and operation.
