barryhi33
Is there any software/program that will allow experiemting with track layout with the pieces I have ?I understand Hornby/Scalextric used to have something which is no longer availble - is that correct ? Andy P.
The Scaelxtric Track Designer can be found online but it is very buggy on new systems.Hopefully we will get something new soon. (just me wishing, no insider info there)There are lots of alternatives. Ultimate Racer is my favorite. I use the free version and it is fine so far. vimal_indrasoma
If you DO use Scaelxtric Track Designer, remember to run it as Administrator, if you're using any of the newer Windows ...also it tends to not "Close the gap" in situations where the actual track would! Good luck!
BN_Racer
I've used RailModeller. Not perfect, but it runs on Mac which I needed. I used it for railroad and just happened to see it had Slot Car. Most all the Scalextric track sections are there to work with.Enjoy!
