Scotty82
I recently purchased a digital Scalextric for my 3 year old son, okay for myself, you got me!! Trouble is my son presses the controller button right down so the car continually flies off the track at the corners. I have fashioned an adaptation using some cardboard and sticky tape which prevents him from pushing it all the way, but now it's rather unsightly. Does anyone know of a clip on product which does the same job or any easy ways to slow his controller down? I run a few businesses and if nothing exists I am tempted to get something moulded that clips onto the digital and analogue controllers so the button compression can be adjusted as they get better allowing more speed. Do you think that would be of interest to anyone, or am I just solving my own problem here. Cheers Scott
dcurzon
Drill a hole through the trigger and fit a bolt. Also easily removed for adult play or as he gets older.
Andy P.
Depending on the powerbase (either C7042 or ARC PRO) you can usually use software or the APP to adjust the power to more acceptable levels.Or you can race in analog mode and use a plug-in dimmer. The current analog powerbases usually come with speed adjustable triggers as well.
