flying platty Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 Hi I have installed the Hornby RailMaster no issues here, then I noticed that firmware was out of date I have followed all instructions on disc and website to no avail. I keep on getting the error "Error in open the Port!" I have tried all usb ports and still have this issue I have tried this on XP and Windows 7. I have contacted the hornby helpdesk but they pointed me to the web version and to call a number that is only manned 9-5 not possible for me as at work. Has anyone else seen this issue and if so how do I resolve this. thanks for taking time in reading this, hope you have a solution so I can start to use my RailMaster.
