PhilC1974 Posted January 26, 2018 Share Posted January 26, 2018 Hi all think i need some help or i am going stupid dont know which one.I brought a new TTS Sound decoder and a hornby select controller on fitting the sound decoder the loco move's forward and reverse but no sound on function F1 or any of the sound function's.This is the second TTS decoder i brought the first one went back as faulty as the loco did stutter in both directions of traval and that did not have any sound function all so this decoder was replaced with this one i am having trouble with on the sound.I have no other DCC Controller to test it on only the select ! Chrissaf Posted January 26, 2018 Share Posted January 26, 2018 What is the firmware version on the Select?.Watch the LCD screen when you connect power, a sequence of three numbers will come up on screen..XX followed by 30 followed by 03.The XX numbers will be the firmware version and should be a number between 10 and 15.I know that it is probably frustration, but it really isn't necessary to post your whole question in bold........well at least it isn't all capitals as well 😉 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
