hedley_reynolds
Hi I wonder if anyone could please help me with a problem that occurred when running in a loco with the select controller my loco was running for about 20 minuets and suddenly stopped with the ES on the screen and I was no where near the controller and I put it on my programming track and the cvs read no problem the select has been updated by Hornby last August so I would imagine that it would be ok but even if I try to put the loco back on the track as soon as the front wheels touch it says ES and not for a short as I believe that it’s a different code for itI would be very grateful if anyone could please help me and give me a clue what’s wrong and can it be a problem with the decoder causing itThanks very much again Hedley
Howbi
@Hedley.........it's not ES, it is E5 meaning emergency stop.........when this happens the rotary knob should be returned to zero and the Red stop button pressed again to release the power..........HB
