Paulali Posted February 1, 2018 Author Share Posted February 1, 2018 well,such a shame,the le mans x4 set was kindly given to me on a job where im still working,the set had no cars,but otherwise all complete,bought a car and with my rush to get it working i just plugged the start piece in and there was intermittent life just in that one piece of track,the rails are in good nick,but i still cleaned them and checked all the tabs,from then on i set up a very small track,but every piece had an intermittent fault,i noticed the track was not sitting flat,and i presume this is when the track was put away,as it wasnt a permanent layout,slight buckles and big buckles,all joins were not sitting flat and the car was catching every join in the track,so now have an arc air set on order,should be ok with brand new track Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Getting track back into good condition is a labor of love.... or hate... usually, unless the piece is exclusive to that brand, i.e. the Goodwood chicane or pits top for Classic Sclaextric I replace it with Sport to ensure peace of mind...
