J15 with tts - sound but no movement

I have an R3416 J15. I had a spare 4f tts unit and it fits perfectly into the J15 tender. All the sounds work fine but the loco won't move. I've even tried reversing the DCC plug but to no avail. Any ideas ?

if you fit the dcc ready plug back in does the loco work ? do a pp3 battery test if you do not have dc analogue 

has one of the 4 wires from the tender to the loco come loose ?

have you reset the decoder ?

Nope - ran superbly on analogue when tested - didn't touch the loco to tender wiring, and still works fine when blanking plug reinserted. Reset devoder using usual CV8=8. Wiring on decoder looks fine and all functions including motor drive worked fine on a loktester. Only think I can think of is that the motor is needing too much current for the tts decoder to cope, but with such a recent release, that's unlikely. Wull try it on another loco later, but at the moment this one's vot me stumped.

I'm waiting for delivery of a J15, can anyone recommend a sound decoder plus speaker for this loco.

I would require a complete system with speaker connected, my soldering skills are.......

in other words plug and play.
