Firmly manipulate the buttons to try and release any buttons that might be stuck..When Rob (RAF96) sees this, he is likely to give you a 'button pressing' procedure to perform a start up 'self check' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
96RAF Posted September 16, 2018 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Initial check is to switch it off and wait at least five seconds before rebooting.If you try to reboot too soon the Elite can hang. If it boots then OK, else... ... hold the LOCO button as you apply power. Release when you see Hornby on screen. You will see a self check and confirmation of pass or fail. If pass then press each button in turn including speed knobs press and rotate which will confirm each button is working. To reset to a normal boot just unplug, wait and replug again.
