Identify track

Good morninG

 

I've decided to dig out my old scaletrix to have fun with my son. 

I was given the track back in the early 90’s. 

Ive replaced the split tyres, new brushes and general tidy up of track. Made a basic oval as I can’t remember the layout from all those years back. 

I have tried googling to try find what set I have but had no luck. So, over to the experts to see if any can help  

the cars are red 911 with whale tail & ford Cosworth police car   

Have a range of straights, tight curves and not so tight curves  2 of the straights & 4 curves bring the cars to centre of the track

While we wait for the pictures to be approved I  am just curious what your expectation is once we see them?

Do you simply want us to let oyu know the car types etc or did you want to know more?

Are you experiencing problems with the track or cars etc?

One thing you should know is that in 2004 the track was changed to the "Sport" model which is the same length and width as the "classic" track you have but the slot is deeper. Therefore starting 2016 all Scalextric cars have a deep guide and will "bottom out" on your track.

This can be fixed by shaving 2-3 mm off the bottom of the guide blade.

There is an adapter piece, part number C8222 that will allow you to connect the classic track to the Sport.

Hi,

i basically want to get a decent track up & running for my son. 

I found a picture online after posting but doesn’t seem to use all the track. 

I believe u may have 1994 hot pursuit c808. 

I have constructed the layout they show but still have 4 curves left. 

Hoping to try get other images for the set. 

If I recall the set came with a few diagram.
