2e0dtoeric Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 Sorry, I'm not familiar with Select.Just guessing, either too many locos running at once, or a momentary short circuit somewhere - probably at a common crossing as a loco or train goes over it.The Select only has a one amp output, so can run two, or maybe three, loco's at once. Any more than that and it will be asked to deliver more power than it can produce.If you have loco lighting, or any other power drains connected to the track as well, this makes matters worse. 96RAF Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 E5 means Emergency Stop and is initiated by the Select big red STOP button. You would not expect to see this as a normal overload event. If the system is overloaded due to too many locos on track or a short then you would see OL meaning overload. This is explained in the user manual near the back.
