81F Posted December 9, 2018 Share Posted December 9, 2018 I've just received the new Hornby sound van, but there was no instructionbs with it, However a quick telephone call to Hornby Customer services put me in contact with Glen who emailed me the info. I have now got the wagon making noises, but I can only get up to function 12 on my elite. Would I be correct in thinking that I need a firmware update? 81F Posted December 15, 2018 Author Share Posted December 15, 2018 Thanks for the info, I suspect it is 1.0 as I think it says Hornby DCC V1.0 when it powers up so that is probably the problem. When updating firmware do I need a power pack connected to the elite and what kind of cable to I need to connect the elite to my PC?
