10 Class Posted January 2, 2019 Share Posted January 2, 2019 Hello everyone.Can anybody tell me if the Scalextric armatures are the same, as used in the X04 motor for the Triang Trains, please?Maybe different shaft lengths?Are there the same amount of windings, on the poles (270 - I think?)Thank you all. tony_walkden Posted January 20, 2019 Share Posted January 20, 2019 Hi and yes the armatures are the same exept the shaft is longer in the x04 motor.I collect triang trains as well as scalextric cars and have accumilated a few spare x04 motors over the years. i purchased an old scalextric car with no motor and inserted the x04,i just trimmed the shaft and it works well, hope this helps.
