Guest
Loads of posts on here about low volume or no sound TTS decoders. It seems to be a common issue with these cheap sound decoders. Usually either the speaker has failed or the audio amp section on the decoder board. Trying a different speaker is the easy first try option. If no improvement, then send the decoder back under warranty for a replacement. It is not unusual for these to fail within the first hour of use. In fact if it is going to fail, this is when it is most likely to happen..DCC Sound Speaker Comparison – courtesy of forum member Richard_Croft
RDS
Hi Folks I'm after a bit of advice. I fitted a Hornby Class 37 TTS card into Bachmann Class 37 although the speaker was a little tight it went in without the baffle. All seemed well but after around 30 mins running the volume dropped and it's very quite even with cv 161 set to 8. My question is has anyone experienced this and what was the cause.
