richard_croft
I bought the new TTS class 66 decoder yesterday, its's excellent. I expected it to be vrty similar to the class 67 decoder with the 2 classes sounding similar but it's totally different. I have fitted it to both a Hornby class 66 (the new BR blue one) and a Bachmann class 66 and both run smoothly with no CV changes. This is the first time I've fitted a TTS decoder to a non Hornby loco and not felt the need to adjust anything. Hornby have done a great job with this one. I have done a video of both models running here Richard
Triumph speedtriple
That's good to know. I fitted TTS to my Hornby 60 and 67 locos with no problems, very happy with them and they run well and I have both new and old versions of Bachmanns 66's,that I fitted exspensive sound chips too, so 8 pin and 21 pins and if I ever have problems, this chip is alot more affordable replacement. (21 to 8 pin converter needed for the TTS for newer 66's)ThanksPeter
