Tony-1255622
I have been looking for the RailMaster 1.7x download and either cannot find it or the ones I find do not work. Is there a link to the download that works please? Also, the .ini file entries for win10 and elink do not exist in my .ini file, any explanation for this? I'm having a bit of an issue trying to get RM working from my win10 laptop (all USB com port settings are correct).I would be grateful for any pointers.Regards, Tony
96RAF
The download links in the sticky post at the top of the RM forum section still work...https://support.hornby.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360016155339-Railmaster-Evaluation-CopyIf the entries in the .ini file are missing type them in and save the file.If you are still having problems with comms then go to the sticky post RM Help Site https://uk.hornby.com/community/forum/railmaster-help-site?ccm_paging_p=2#end-of-replies... and follow the advice posted there to the letter. Fishmanoz
Hey Rob, can I suggest that having provided the latest links to the correct info in your post, you now lock this thread. That will avoid new people like Tony adding further to this 3 year old info. And you might add to yours if you first install an old RM version from CD before loading the latest the correct Windows driver for Elite or eLink, what ends up in your ini file will not look anything like what needs to be there and won’t change if you now update from the link. However, if you first load the Windows driver, ignore the CD and download the latest RM version from the link, the ini file will be at least close to correct but may still need tweaking from the FAQ info.
