garfield Posted April 1, 2019 Share Posted April 1, 2019 Hi there I have just purchased the R3557 LMS Royal Scot class "Royal Army Service Corp" locomotive and was toying with the idea of a TTS decoder the only problem is i am not sure which chip to go for as there isnt one for the royal scot.So i just wanted to know which would be the closest sound wise and will fit ok Many thanks Simon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
96RAF Posted April 1, 2019 Share Posted April 1, 2019 WelcomeThe Royal,Scot is a three cylinder loco so you could go for an A4 TTS as long as you don’t mind having the wrong whistles.Or you go for a sound set with the right region whistles and the wrong chuff melody, maybe Lord Nelson or similar.
