2e0dtoeric Posted May 7, 2019 Share Posted May 7, 2019 I presume the fitting instructions will be included with the decoder.IF your 08 is DCC Ready, all you need to do is plug the decoder in, in place of the blank, and find somewhere to fit the speaker! You may have to source a different speaker to get it to fit..Just because Steve's 08 had an 8 Pin decoder socket. That does not necessarily guarantee that yours will too. Many Bachmann models have MTC21 21 Pin decoder sockets. The socket type in your 08 model needs to be checked, as you might also need to find space for some form of adaptor..To see these images below as full size images. Right click them and choose (subject to browser being used) 'view or save image'. View image will open the image in a new Tab / Window full screen for printing.
