Chrissaf
I took my West Country DCC ready apart to fit a DCC encoder, the model is quite old, but was DCC ready. I spent ages trying to get it back together, it would go so far and then no further. To cut a long story short, the fitted DCC circuit board which holds the encoder, was basically an interference fit with the body and of coarse it is not easy to see. I filed about 1 mm off each edge of the board, making sure there was sufficient pcb around each of the holes, and now it fits easily. I just thought I would say just in case anybody else has issues. 96RAF
Good to see that you have found and fixed the problem Colin using simple modelling skills. Many PnP Warriors would have given up or sent it back if new.
