Moojooles Posted June 27, 2019 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Hello everyone. I have just bought a HUGE amount of Scalextric stuff from an auction. In the lot, was a lot of old black Scalextric track boxes, but the numbers stamped on the underside of the pieces didn't all match what is on the boxes. I'm currently sorting the pieces out, and am wondering when the changeover from eg:C153/0010 to PT53 was? They are essentially the same piece of track, but I don't want to be putting newer track away in the much older boxes, unless it doesn't matter to collectors. Posted July 1, 2019 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Hi Moojooles,When I have time (which won't be until next week I am afraid) I can check my "Ultimate guide on Scalextric" book for info about this.I do know that Scalextric Classix track was made in the UK, France and Spain and each may have had different labelling.
