Chrissaf
You mention the word "Slider" so do we take it that your controller is RailMaster. In which case, this should have been posted in the RM forum..If it is RM, then a similar issue has been posted at least twice before with other locos. The link below gives a solution on bottom of Page 1 (William David) and confirmed by another user on Page 2 (Knap) that worked for those original posters. The solution involved deleting the affected loco completely from RM and re-installing it..https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/post/view/topic_id/27840/?p=1. Chrissaf
I have today purchased a Hornby A1X Terrier (R3768X) at the Faversham model rail show.I have programmed it as normal, but on running, it goes off like a greyhound. Slow speed was selected and 10mph is shown as the speed, but its way too fast. Using the slider, I can get it to run slower, but the slightest increase and it’s away!Probably something needs adjusting, but I am lost what to do. Never had this happen on my other locos. Chrissaf
Now that the controller is confirmed as being RM, the thread has been moved here from Hornby DCC.
