nissan gtr car guids

You can search under Help & advice - > Service Sheets and then enter Nissan and you will find the service sheet for the drift cars:

https://www.scalextric.com/servicesheets/index/download/id/203/

Or

https://www.scalextric.com/servicesheets/index/download/id/271/

Drift cars use a 360° guide blade C8330 which should still be usable on a digital layout but will cause problems if the car turns around...

I could be wrong but I don't think you can swap a standard guide into a drift guide hole straight out of the box.

The wires are not connected in the same way.

If you search the service sheets as mentioned there are drift and non drift Nissans mentioned and it should be clear if the underpan can be swapped out or not.

Hi mrmetallica - welcome to the forum!

This is the standard guide assembly for most modern Scalextric cars: https://www.scalextric.com/uk-en/round-guide-blade-4-braid-plates-1-screw.html

If the non-drift Nissan GTR underpan is Digital Plug Ready (DPR) - which I am 99.9% sure it is - that's the guide you need.

thanks for the welcome and for the link to the guides very help full and the underpan is digital ready.
