Slow Lane

I bought a bunch of Sport track with the powerbase track sections (excuse the tech terms here!) and the inside lane has a much slower throttle response than the outer lane. I can swap the throttles and cars around and it's the same result - you need to pull the trigger all the way in to get the same acceleration as you would pulling the outer lane throttle half way at the most. Any idea what's wrong?

The best way to test a problem like this is to make the smallest possible oval (i.e. powerbase on one side, half stright on other and 2 X 180° R2 curves) you can to make sure it isn't just connection problem.

If it turns out it is a problem with the powerbase there is likely a loose or corroded connection inside.

To be 100% sure it is best to swap out the powerbase and see if the problem goes away.

If the problem is in the powerbase it would need some work by someone familiar with electronics.
