96RAF
HiI'm trying out the demo version and have found problems drawing up my (not very complicated)track plan.I can get so far but if I change scale (i.e. zoom % to better see what I am doing) the track parts to add appear in different sizes and I have to bomb out of it .I can lay many parts OK but if I change scale to see all the plan, the next track part I try to plant is at the wrong scale and the trackplan throws up multiple errors at section joints as if they can't snap to each other. Is this a limitation of the demo version or is it a bug.I won't commit to buy until I am sure this software is reliable.Robbie
David55
Hi RobbieI've never seen the demo version, but starting from scratch last year I was persuaded by my model shop to go with DCC. Since my railway is in my office at home, with a computer I decided to go with railmaster and think it is absolutely brilliant.I have to confess, my computer technician set it up for me, but since then I have had no problems. By the way, even with him, it took nearly an hour with help from Hornby Customer Care to sort.Go with it, you will enjoy it.David
