How to fold up my table?

Hi Guys,

Im new to the site and a big fan, im in my mid 30s and still a big kid when it comes to Scalextric.

Ive got an 8x4 track on hardboard (i think), and want to mount it to the wall and then enable it to fold down when i want to use it and fold away when i dont. However, i cannot think of a bracket/winch system that is relatively simple. Ive searched the internet but cant find much.

Does anybody have any ideas as to how i can fold up a table of this size in a somewhat simple manner.

Simplest would be to get a couple door hinges attach them to the table spaced apart so the hinges would then attach to the wall where there are studs behind your plaster board (drywall). Then put folding legs on the bottom. If you run the legs along the long edge so they fold that way then the legs would act as a border along the edge. Trim the whole thing up and put a photo collage or a couple nice all hangings on the bottom and when it folds up it will look better than a table bottom when you look at the wall.
